Welcome!
Hey everyone,
I figured I'd start this blog to keep everyone posted on what's going on with me. It's been a pretty wild two weeks. Last week I started back again working at Bauer Publishing, which is actually where my career in magazines started. I'm very happy to be back and it's been great catching up with old friends.
I also got my headshots taken on Wednesday by Tess Steinkolk - an amazing photographer - and we had a blast. I will get some of those up soon so you can take a look at her work. She also told me she loved my pictures so much she's going to put one up on her website, which I think is so cool! Two of my favorites, Brian Dennehy and Mariska Hargitay are up there, so it'll be nice to be on display!
I also booked the movie Winning Season, starring Emma Roberts (who I coincidentally interviewed twice during my stint at Tiger Beat/BOP) and Sam Rockwell. I'm on the "dirty" team that they play and I'm really excited about it, as I love basketball and have always wanted to be in a basketball movie! I had my wardrobe fitting last week and I love the girls on my team. The one unfortunate thing is that we have rehearsals this weekend (we're being trained by a former Indiana Pacer!) and then we shoot the first scene Tuesday, so I had to cancel my flight to LA. Sadly, that means I can't go to Nicole and Patrick's wedding :( They are two of my favorite people ever and I'm so sad about that, but they understand. I also had to cancel out on the High School Musical 3 premiere. I was going to attend with two of my best friends, KayCee Stroh, who plays Martha, and Scott Appel, her publicist. Oh well.
Somehow between all this, I'm working on a bio for the lovely and talented Nicolette Hart (Rent, Legally Blonde), who just guest starred on NBC's Lipstick Jungle. I'm also meeting with Shirley Grant next week, so that should be interesting.
